Resveratrol Antioxidant

What is your favorite wine and why? Taste, aroma, or memories attached? Vintage?

Mine are Pinot Noir (because what it means high that resveratrol is an antioxidant high) and Beaujolais (I have migraines and Beaujolais is what I drink when I do not want headaches;)).

O the wine mmmmmmm. most memorable wine was a 1934 Lafite-Rothschild (Bordeaux), helped me a drink in 1999. A friend of retirement (he was 87 at the time) came to my house and another friend went out saying "look what I found in my basement." No excuses, no snobbery. Opened and the wine was like a Gobstopper eternal - a new taste of each beverage. Impressive. It was a nice guy, usually prefer Pinot Noir and red Burgundy (which is made from pinot noir grapes). I also love the spicy Rhone Valley wine. Stranger wine? Try a slightly sweet, slightly sparkling wine RED. Interested? Acqui Brachetto (it's an Italian wine), Si French grapes (wine most Americans are from France) give you headaches, try Italian wine. Sangiovese (the main wine Chianti, Barolo fat high, light and fruity Barbera d'Asti, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
